Kari is passionate about the participation of children in sport and life. She values the role Physiotherapy plays in promoting participation and enjoys seeing the incredible benefits for the children, their families and the community.

 

A keen participant in her own community through local schools, Scouting, tennis and sailing. Kari volunteers for Scouts Victoria, assisting with children’s outdoor adventurous activities. She also volunteers for Little Athletics and the local school parent engagement program.

 

Since graduating from Melbourne University Kari has over 20 years experience working as a Physiotherapist in Rehabilitation and Community Physiotherapy across all age groups. She has extensive experience working in community home visits and aquatic settings.

 

Kari has completed a range of paediatric courses, the latest being a level 2 Australian Physiotherapy Association Paediatric course, and is dedicated to ongoing professional development.

 

She is excited to be a Splash Physiotherapist, to facilitate the achievement of children’s goals and family aspirations for their children.
