Goals smashed in our April intensive!

We were thrilled to welcome our new physio, Georgia to our Splash Physio team for our April intensives!

Bec, Georgia and myself delivered land and aquatic intensives over the April school holidays.

We had a mix of weather, and made use of our indoor sporting venue, as well as the excellent outdoor sporting facilities.

We had toddlers through to teenagers working on a variety of goals developing:

  • wheelchair mobility

  • floor mobility

  • agility and pre - sport skills

  • soccer skills

  • bike riding, with kids enjoying getting going on 2 wheels; making incredible gains on their custom tricycles and training wheels

We were also lucky to have our Moonee Ponds pool all to ourselves in the afternoons. Deliciously warm on the colder days and filled with sunlight when it came out, we had a range of children join us:

  • just starting swimming and getting used to water over the face

  • submerging underwater

  • gliding and starting propulsion

  • working on developing long arms

  • lots of games mixed in!

Thanks to all the families for sharing your holidays with us. We thoroughly enjoy intensives and seeing such quick progress. It will be fun to build on this during your term 2 blocks.
